Golf courses

The 18-hole golf course at Oxfordshire Golf Resort was designed by Rees Jones and opened in 1993. This modern course is a blend of parkland and links style, situated on relatively flat terrain with few trees, undulating across the landscape towards well-manicured greens.

Each hole on the course naturally integrates into the beautiful landscape, offering a challenging game with 4 lakes and a total of 135 bunkers. The course maximizes the terrain to provide an exciting golf experience.

The signature hole of the course is the 17th, recognized by Golf Magazine as one of the world's top 500 holes. This par 5 hole plays downhill around a large lake in the middle of the course towards a narrow green. Even experienced golfers may find this hole challenging, so achieving par here is a feat to be proud of.

The 18th hole is also noteworthy. This 356-meter hole concludes at a lake, with the green situated on an island featuring a prominent oak tree that demands careful consideration for approach shots. This creates an exciting finish to your round on this fantastic golf course.

Over the years, the course has hosted several major tournaments. From 1996 to 1999, a segment of the European Tour was held here, highlighting the course's reputation as an exciting challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
