    Golf courses

La Cala offers three championship courses: Campo America, Campo Asia, and Campo Europa. Each course presents its own unique challenge, set amidst the rolling landscape that surrounds the resort.

    • America Course: This course features some truly spectacular holes, including the par 5s on 6, 9, and 18, as well as the notable par 3 on 16. The hilly terrain on which the course is built makes it a tough challenge, with many forced carries over steep, bush-covered slopes. Additionally, nearly three-quarters of the greens are elevated above fairway level, adding another challenge for golfers. Moreover, small greens, well-protected by strategically placed bunkers, require precise and well-measured shots. However, the America Course is slightly easier to play compared to the Asia Course, thanks to wide, interconnected fairways and relatively fewer bunkers, allowing more room for error. Situated at the foot of the Mijas Mountains, Campo America's international status is further enhanced by spectacular views of the Sierra de Ojén and the Mediterranean Sea.
    • Europa Course: Geared towards the average golfer, this course offers a lighter experience with generous fairways, flatter terrain, and slightly larger greens compared to the America and Asia courses. Nevertheless, the presence of excellent bunkers and the appearance of the idyllic Ojen River on eight of the holes ensure that you can never be too relaxed.
    • Asia Course: Although the Asia Course is the oldest of the three La Cala courses, it still commands respect from golfers and is often considered the most challenging of the three. The layout of the course is even more undulating, the fairways are narrower, and the bushes are more impenetrable than on the nearby America Course. Therefore, the course certainly emphasizes accuracy and control. This exciting course guarantees a challenging round for golfers of all levels.
