Golf courses at Precise Resort El Rompido:

• South Course: In 2003, Alvaro Arana crafted a beautiful course amidst pine trees and orange groves on wonderful park-like terrain. Like its neighbor, the North Course, the nearby marshes play a prominent role in the backdrop of this course, adding character to the layout. The South Course rewards precise and intelligent golf, where playing conservatively is advantageous, placing you in good positions for a better score. The undulating terrain has some small but beautiful elevation changes as you move through the course. The South Course at Precise Resort El Rompido reserves its most spectacular feature for last. The 17th and 18th tees are located on a pontoon, allowing you to hit your tee shots over marshes and onto the fairway beyond. This course is so much fun, but the final two tee shots really leave a fantastic impression of the place.
• North Course: The introduction of the North Course in 2006 confirmed El Rompido's position as one of the region's premier golf destinations and is definitely worth a stop during your golf vacation in Andalusia. Although not the longest course in the world, it is a course for intelligent golfers rather than long drivers, requiring well-thought-out golf shots to score well. Situated amidst the Marismas del Río Piedras Nature Reserve among mature pine trees and orange groves, the North Course is a feast for the eyes with plenty of nature complementing the golf course perfectly. The majority of the front nine of this course runs along the marshes of the Piedra River. The feel of the countryside and the inevitable Southern Spanish heat give the course a Florida-like feel. As you play the more inland back nine, the course has an absolute gem in store. The 16th hole is one of the highlights of the round, and the short par-3 should not be taken lightly. At only 124 meters, you might be deterred by the beautiful marshland in the background and the lack of distance. However, you'll need to keep your senses sharp as the green is protected by two of golf's most feared hazards... very deep bunkers.
