The club hosts several major tournaments, including recent years on the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS), and in 2023, they will host the European Championship. Tegelberga always delivers fantastic quality and guarantees a superb golfing experience.
Rankings:
Tegelberga Golf Club resembles a classic, hilly Scottish heathland course set in a Skåne environment with interesting natural features, such as the water holes known as ”dödissjöer,” remnants from the last ice age. As you navigate the course, you can almost feel how the landscape was shaped by the ice. Tegelberga is demanding in its own way, but the landscape and course together provide a complete golfing experience. The landscape and layout ensure each hole has its own unique character.
The 18-hole course, Gamla Banan, opened in 1990 and expanded with 9 additional holes in 2002. Designed by Peter Chamberlain, he remarked, ”My vision for Tegelberga is that it will become an interesting and challenging golf course with a distinct Skåne character. It will be a course that experienced players won’t tire of, and for beginners, it will be an inspiration to greater things.”
Tegelberga Golf Club also offers one of Sweden’s best Pay & Play courses. It’s a full-length golf course measuring 2575 meters from the yellow tee and 2218 meters from the red tee, featuring two par 5s, four par 4s, and three par 3s. Perfect for golfers of all levels and those looking to get into the sport.
